High Definition. High-definition video is video of higher resolution and quality than standard-definition. While there is no standardized meaning for high-definition, generally any video image with considerably more than 480 horizontal lines (North America) or 576 horizontal lines (Europe) is considered high-definition. 720 scan lines is generally the minimum even though the majority of systems greatly exceed that. Images of standard resolution captured at rates faster than normal (60 frames/second North America, 50 fps Europe), by a high-speed camera may be considered high-definition in some contexts. Television series’ shot on high-definition video are made to look as if they have been shot on film, a technique which is often known as filmizing.480 pixels, 720px, 1080px, 30 frames per second, 60 fps, field of view 170 degrees, HD, 4K digital video, 2.7k video, HERO4 Silver Edition, videography
